Inspired by the Voynich manuscript — a medieval document written in an undecipherable language with illustrations of unidentified plants — this video piece examines duality, identity, and systems of knowledge through three perspectives: the observed, the manipulated, and the represented. Set among the vendors and markets of Caracas, the work constructs a visual language that oscillates between documentation and invention, questioning whether any system of representation can truly capture its subject.
