Venezuelan artist based in St. Louis, United States.

Llovera's practice subverts dominant instruments and methods of knowledge production by exploring the dynamics between what is defined as nature, culture and technology. He is interested in engaging in "speculative collaborations" with systems that allow him to reexamine the concept of agency like machine learning algorithms and fungi, in order to attempt achieving lateral, integrative ways of knowing and acting within the world.

He is driven by a seemingly disparate number of things such as science, the tropical and its popular culture like salsa brava. From epistemological issues to urgent matters such as extractivism and forced migration, his work combines a wide range of media belonging to different moments in time and space resulting in experiences that show a sense of a marginal, hybrid knowledge. He has participated in exhibitions at Salon ACME 10 (Mexico), Centrul de Interes (Romania), CICA Museum of Contemporary Art (South Korea), and at the Museum of the National University of Colombia (Bogotá), as well as in other multiple shows in galleries and institutions in Venezuela.

His recognitions include the First Place of the XXII Youth Hall with FIA, Caracas, Venezuela and the nomination for the CIFO Ars Electronica 22-23 award, among others.
